AEES 2026

From September 18th to 20th, 2026, the 7th International Conference on Advanced Electrical and Energy Systems (AEES 2026) was held in Dalian, Liaoning Province, China. The conference was jointly sponsored by the IEEE China Council and Dalian University of Technology, hosted by the School of Electrical Engineering at Dalian University of Technology, jointly organised by the School of Electrical and Control Engineering at Shenyang Jianzhu University, and co-organised by the Intelligent Power Equipment and System Professional Committee of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering and the Electrical Intelligent System and Application Professional Committee of the China Electrotechnical Society. About 180 experts, scholars and engineers from universities, research institutes and industry took part on site and online, exchanging research progress in advanced electrical and energy systems and discussing the technical and engineering questions behind it.

2026年9月18日至20日，第七届先进电气和能源系统国际会议（AEES 2026）在辽宁大连举行。本届会议由IEEE中国联合会和大连理工大学联合主办，大连理工大学电气工程学院、沈阳建筑大学电气与控制工程学院承办，中国电机工程学会智能电力设备与系统专业委员会、中国电工技术学会电器智能化系统及应用专业委员会协办。来自高校、科研机构及相关企业的约180名专家学者和工程技术人员通过线上线下方式参会，交流先进电气与能源系统领域的研究进展，讨论相关技术及工程应用问题。

On the morning of September 19th, the conference opened. Professor Enyuan Dong of Dalian University of Technology, Conference Chair, presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome address, reviewing the development and academic aims of the AEES series and inviting participants to bring their own research to bear on theoretical methods and practical experience. Professor Weixing Li, Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering at Dalian University of Technology, then addressed the audience on the school's disciplinary development and research work, and said that the school would continue to support international academic exchange and to provide sound services for the conference, welcoming participants' views on discipline building, research and the training of young researchers.

9月19日上午，大会举行开幕式。大会主席、大连理工大学董恩源教授主持开幕式并致欢迎辞，对与会嘉宾表示欢迎，回顾了AEES会议的发展历程与学术宗旨，希望与会专家结合各自研究工作，交流理论方法与实践经验，就相关技术的应用和后续研究开展讨论。随后，大连理工大学电气工程学院院长李卫星教授致辞，介绍了学院的学科建设和科研情况，表示学院将继续支持国际学术交流，做好会议服务与保障工作，并希望通过此次会议，听取与会专家在学科建设、科学研究和人才培养等方面的意见与建议。

The keynote session was chaired by Professor Enyuan Dong. Five keynote speeches were delivered: Professor Yi Wu of Xi'an Jiaotong University on economical medium and high voltage DC breaking technology; Associate Professor (Emeritus) Hoay Beng GOOI of Nanyang Technological University, IEEE Life Fellow, on AI-driven power systems, digital twins, virtual power plant integration and consumer-centric energy markets; Professor Rui Li of Harbin Institute of Technology on fault protection of all-DC offshore wind power systems; Professor Xian Cheng of Zhengzhou University on key technologies and intelligent operation and maintenance of ultra-high voltage environmentally friendly vacuum GIS; and Professor Lijun Wang of Xi'an Jiaotong University on three-dimensional modelling and simulation of TMF vacuum arcs in AC and DC interruption processes.

大会主旨报告环节由董恩源教授主持。西安交通大学吴翊教授、新加坡南洋理工大学荣休副教授Hoay Beng GOOI（IEEE Life Fellow）、哈尔滨工业大学李瑞教授、郑州大学程显教授、西安交通大学王立军教授先后作主旨报告，内容涉及直流开断、电力系统数字化、海上风电故障保护、环保型电气装备及真空电弧建模。

Beyond the five keynote speeches, the programme included 12 invited talks, four onsite forums, six oral sessions, three online sessions, two student paper competitions and two poster sessions. The onsite forums covered power system operation optimisation and comprehensive utilisation of renewable energy, intelligent power equipment breaking technologies, insulation and condition assessment of power equipment, and power electronic conversion and intelligent measurement and control technology. Invited talks ranged from renewable generation modelling and circuit breaker interruption technology to equipment condition monitoring, insulating oil ageing and regeneration, power electronic control and energy storage; poster sessions covered high voltage transmission and interruption technology as well as intelligent optimisation and coordinated energy management; the online sessions discussed system configuration and planning under renewable integration, insulation monitoring and fault diagnosis of high voltage equipment, and reliability assessment of power electronic equipment.

除五场主旨报告外，大会还设置12场特邀报告、6个口头报告分会、2场学生论文竞赛、2场海报展示及3个线上分会。现场分会设有电力系统运行优化与新能源综合利用、智能电力设备开断技术、电力设备绝缘与状态评估、电力电子变换与智能测控技术四个主题。特邀报告涉及新能源发电系统建模与仿真、断路器开断技术、设备状态监测、绝缘油老化与再生、电力电子系统控制及储能等研究；海报展示内容包括高电压输电与电力开断、智能电力系统优化控制与综合能源协调管理；线上分会讨论新能源集成下的系统优化配置与规划、高压设备绝缘监测与故障诊断，以及电力电子设备运行状态分析与可靠性评估等问题。

Awards were presented during the conference in recognition of outstanding papers, early-career research and service to the conference: the Young Scientist Award, Best Paper Award, Best Student Paper Award, Best Industrial Paper Award, Outstanding Contribution Award, Rising‑Star Scholar Award, Basic Research Rising‑Star Award and Outstanding Reviewer Award.

会议期间评选并颁发了青年科学家奖、最佳论文奖、最佳学生论文奖、最佳行业文章奖、突出贡献奖、新星学者奖、基础研究新星奖及优秀审稿人奖，以表彰在学术研究、青年人才成长与会议组织中表现突出的学者和研究者。
