With much expectation, AEES 2022 was finally held successfully during September 23rd-25th, 2022. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the imposed restrictions on travel, the organizing committee had to make a tough decision and convert 2022 into an onsite conference in Lanzhou blended with virtual mode for the safety and well-being of all participants.

The AEES 2022 is co-sponsored by Lanzhou Jiaotong University, China and IEEE; hosted by School of New Energy and Power Engineering, Lanzhou Jiaotong University, China; State Key Laboratory of Large Electric Drive System and Equipment Technology, IEEE PES Lanzhou Chapter; Energy Internet Technology and Equipment R&D Gansu International Science and Technology Cooperation Base; Gansu Provincial Key Laboratory of Avionics Action and Gansu Provincial Key Laboratory of Solar Power System Engineering. 

本届会议由兰州交通大学和IEEE共同主办；兰州交通大学新能源与动力工程学院和大型电气传动系统与装备技术国家重点实验室，IEEE PES兰州分会以及能源互联网技术与装备研发甘肃省国际科技合作基地，甘肃省航空电作动重点实验室和甘肃省太阳能发电系统工程重点实验室共同承办。

On September 24, Conference Chair - Prof. Zhe Chen from Aalborg University, Denmark made vedio opening remarks, then Prof. Jianwu Dang from Lanzhou Jiaotong University, China made an opening remarks onsite respectively.
会议于9月24日上午开幕。会议伊始，兰州交通大学新能源与动力工程学院院长-董海鹰教授做为会议主持隆重介绍到场嘉宾。首先大会主席丹麦奥尔堡大学陈哲教授做为大会主席致开幕辞，代表大会组委会成员对学者们的出席表示热烈欢迎，接着，兰州交通大学副校长-党建武教授致欢迎辞，对此次协助单位表示感谢，对大会的召开表示了衷心的祝愿。  

On keynote and invited speeches session, Prof. Zhe Chen, Prof. Leopoldo García Franquelo, Prof. Vijay K. Sood, Prof. Zhifang Yang, Assoc. Prof. Dan Wang, Prof. Fuyuan Yang, Assoc. Prof. Wenjiong Cao, Dr. Zhongbei Tian and Prof. Nídia Caetano delivered excellent speeches.

Excellent Oral Presentation Winners

Moreover the conference was composed of 14 technical oral sessions, topics covered, for example, Solar Energy and Photovoltaic Power Generation, Power Grid Stability and Control, Electrical Insulation and Relay Protection, New Energy Power System and Distribution Network Optimization, Power Information Technology and Power Communication and so on. Each parallel session went through smoothly and a “Best Presentation” award was issued at the end of sub-conference.
AEES 2022 吸引了120多位专家学者以及公司代表参与会议讨论，本次会议设置了14个分会场。在为期三天的会议中大家围绕太阳能与光伏发电、电网稳定与控制、电气绝缘与继电保护、新能源电力系统与配电网优化、电力信息技术与电力通信等主题进行了论述，并分享了各自领域的最新研究和经验。
9月25日下午，AEES2022闭幕，闭幕式由兰州交通大学李帅兵老师主持，闭幕式上还进行了颁奖环节，优秀报告论文奖依次揭晓，获奖人均获得证书的嘉奖。AEES2022圆满成功并正式落下帷幕。
